Our client is looking for a junior estimator for their office in Brantford, Ontario with the following skills:
* bid breakdowns and tender forms c/w labour & equipment rates
* preparation of preliminary schedules, manpower loading charts, work execution plans, organization charts, etc
* Have a good understanding of the mechanical trade scope within the construction industry (ACTS)
* Maintain and update supplier lists for equipment, and procurement of quotations for supply of equipment
* Develop overhead for the estimate that will include all of the following areas: administration,construction equipment, support facilities & services, labour additives and location cost
* Electrical and/or piping background
Requirements
Applicable technical training or valid trade certification is required
Post secondary degree/diploma/certificate or equivalency is required
At least 3 years of construction experience
